Chapel of the Holy Cross

One of the prettiest places in Sedona, AZ, is the Chapel of the Holy Cross.  It sits anchored into the mountain side and is a reminder of the One who created all this beauty around.  The chapel is non-denominational and is a place for people of all faiths to enjoy and give thanks.  In the first photo you can see the chapel in the lower left hand corner.  Click on the photo to view larger.  The last photo shows my mom and dad hiking up to a view point.  You can see the chapel above them in the distance.

Irises and Chinese Culture Days

Next to Orchids, I'd say Irises are my next favorite flowers.  Their colors and varieties are amazing and beautiful.  Our Missouri Botanical Garden has a wonderful display that you can walk through.  We attended this years Chinese cultures days and saw one of the acrobatic acts.  It's incredible what they can do and how skilled they are.

The Gift

Delivered this week, a gift I never expected arrived in the mail.  This story begins, it seems a lifetime ago, when I worked at Owens Comm...
