Chapel of the Holy Cross
One of the prettiest places in Sedona, AZ, is the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It sits anchored into the mountain side and is a reminder of the One who created all this beauty around. The chapel is non-denominational and is a place for people of all faiths to enjoy and give thanks. In the first photo you can see the chapel in the lower left hand corner. Click on the photo to view larger. The last photo shows my mom and dad hiking up to a view point. You can see the chapel above them in the distance.

Sedona, Arizona - God's Masterpiece
I'm amazed at how awe-inspiring this place is every time I go. Sometimes I just wish we could drop everything, pack our bags, and go live there permanently. And after 5 trips, you'd think it would lose it's specialness, but it doesn't. When we pull around the bend that reveals the valley, my heart races and it's like seeing it for the first time all over again. I don't understand the significance or the emotional draw of Sedona, but I know that God has placed this place in my heart. It calls to me and I always leave wanting to go back!

Grand Canyon South Rim
A year ago we invited my parents on a trip to our favorite place, Sedona, AZ. We wanted them to experience the wonder and awesomeness of this special place. For a year we anticipated this trip. Our first stop was the Grand Canyon South Rim. We stayed at a hotel in Flagstaff and got up the next morning, taking the bus around the rim stops. The day was perfect...not too hot, blue skies and big white clouds. I'll let the photos speak for themselves...it was beautiful!
