Buckingham Palace and Changing of the Guard

The Palace State Rooms are only open for tours during a couple months in the summer, so John and I were lucky to be able to do this tour.  The grandeur of the place will blow your mind.  It's hard to imagine the wealth.  We weren't allowed to take pictures of the inside.  John also made sure I was able to go see the changing of the guard one morning before our Parliament tour.

We waited at least an hour and a half to see the this ceremony in order to get a place at the front of the crowd.  But, there was a nice couple from Texas waiting beside us and two gals from Australia.

  1. Amazing photos. Thanks for sharing. You do such a wonderful job. There should be a market for your pics out there somewhere. Well we just keep trudging along. Take care.
