Kensington Palace

The day after I broke my camera, along with The Tower of London, we also toured Kensington Palace.  So, the pics below are also Samsung S6 photos, but again they turned out pretty well for cell photos.

The palace has been home to the royal family for over 300 years.  We got to see the King's and the Queen's State Apartments.  There was also a special exhibit dedicated to Queen Victoria and Princess Diana.

The palace is also residence of Prince Henry and Prince William and Princess Kate.  They were working on the front of the palace so I didn't take any photos of the front.

A very nice American couple offered to take our picture.

 The King's State Apartment

The Queen's State Apartment was not nearly as elaborate as the King's.  I just realized I took hardly any pictures of it!

Cambridge Botanical Garden

Finally made it to the Cambridge Botanical Garden! And, we love it.  Bought our annual pass so that we can enjoy visiting at all seasons of the year.  It sits in the heart of Cambridge and is part of Cambridge University.  They have a cafe in the garden and also allow picnic lunches on the grounds.

Giant Sequoia...reminded me of California days!

Cherry Blossoms in Bonn

When I read about the cherry blossoms in Bonn, I knew we had to get there before they disappeared. And I was not disappointed.  Two streets...
