Senior Photo Shoot

This young man makes photography easy with his great looks and easy-going personality!  It was a pleasure working with him and his dad.  Wish you the best at your new school, Jared!

Coming to an End

High school is quickly coming to an end.  Beki's last day of school is May 9th with graduation following on May 19th.  We are definitely on countdown.  Today she turned in her final paper.  Prom is this weekend...so exciting!  She's going to be beautiful in her designer candy apple red gown.  She'll be heading downtown with some friends in limo-style.  We finished up her senior pics last week and will be getting announcements out soon...I hope!  College is around the corner.  She will be attending Missouri State University on scholarship!  She's planning on majoring in Bio-medical sciences.  If she sticks with it, she'll graduate and enter graduate school for a degree as a Physicians Assistant.  We went down this week to visit MSU, did the tour and visited with Ari and Anthony.

Senior Pictures

Okay, anybody out there who has graduated a Senior knows that Senior Pictures don't come cheep. So I've decided to try my (Aimee) hand at photography. We have this beautiful property behind our house with lots of settings to choose from. I've been practicing on the girls, trying different places and lighting, to see what I can come up with. So far, not too bad. However, the subjects, in this case, are not particularly cooperative and if mom has a camera in hand, they run in the opposite direction. So, I tried to get some good shots while at Forest Park. With Ari, it was "not again", and with John, well, let's just say he impatiently wanted to get on with the walk because "that's what we were there for". And Beki, she like I, likes pictures and is a bit more agreeable.

Cherry Blossoms in Bonn

When I read about the cherry blossoms in Bonn, I knew we had to get there before they disappeared. And I was not disappointed.  Two streets...
