Elephant Rock State Park

A couple weekends ago, John and I drove an hour and half down to Elephant Rock State Park.  It was a perfect weekend with temps just right for walking.  I had heard about this park, but didn't really know what to expect.  I was surprised when we drove into the park and saw the giant boulders this park was named for.  We took a little hike through the boulders and shot off a side path that came to an old mining area.  If you are looking for something to do with the kids, pack a lunch and drive down.  It's well worth your time.

  1. Wow, that place is too cool. Too bad we didn't get there while your mom and I were there. Great Pics, as always.
