Leslie Photo Shoot

Had a great time with Leslie and her mom out at the Botanical Gardens.  She's a beautiful girl and sooo easy to photograph.  Wish you the best Leslie as you graduate and start college life.

Easter Weekend

Hard to believe it was Easter time already.  It's been a weird spring with lots of rain and storms and tornado warnings.  We had a close call last week when a tornado came through the St. Louis area and actually hit the airport and surrounding neighborhoods.  Thankfully, everyone in the path of that storm survived.

I had lots of company this weekend.  My mom, Angy and Linzy drove here from Ohio and Anthony and Ari came home for a couple of nights in order to spend Easter at home.  Allie called, last minute, to see if she could come out as well.  So, we had a houseful.  John was in New Mexico over the holiday...he missed out on all the excitement.  I took everyone out to the botanical garden.  We actually had a short break from the rain.  We had a good time visiting and catching up.  We did Easter service Saturday night and got to sleep in Sunday morning.  I made pancakes and bacon.  It was nice to just relax.

The cats really took to both Angy and Linzy...which made Linzy very happy.

Beki found out she made her audition for next year's show choir.  Today, she took her ACT's...one step closer to college.

Linzy's Photo Shoot

With such a sweet heart, you can't help but love this girl.  She loves Jesus, her family and skating and it shows in everything she does.  She's absolutely a natural in front of the camera.  Thanks, Linzy, for making my job so easy.

And everyone should have photos with their mom.  Two very pretty girls!

Linzy's Skate Shoot

This young lady is full of promise.  She's incredibly graceful and artistic on the ice for her age, 10 years.  Can't wait to see where her skating takes her.

Tip-toe Through the Tulips

It's tulip time here in Saint Louis...so I did me a little tip-toeing.  The displays were gorgeous and it's sad they only last such a short time.

This little boy was so excited to see the ducks swimming toward him...I couldn't resist a snapshot to capture him leaning in to talk to them!

Spring is in the Air

The branches are lined with lace...beautiful and delicate.  Walking around the city, I came across several trees in bloom.  The cherry trees and dogwoods were in bloom and the crab apples weren't far behind.

I found a path in the Botanical Gardens that I had never been on before.  As you can see, it was a treasure.  The dogwoods were beautiful.
