I love Spring, the smell in the air, the soft colors, the warm air, sitting in the sun again. Spring is the beginning of all seasons…I think it should be our January on the calendar. It’s the birth of our seasons, new life, new beginningsI was thinking the other day how my life is coming into a new season, everything is changing. I’m a mom, but no longer to little girls, but young women. I hope that this new season will bring a new and closer friendship with my girls.
I feel restless, but don’t know yet what it is I’m looking for. I’m no longer needed in the same way by my children and that is sad. Yet, I’m excited about the future, their’s and mine. Even though I don’t know yet what it is God has in store for us, I’m trusting Him to guide us on the right path. I decided to give this blogging thing a little bit more effort and thought now was a good time to try a new format, one that I can personalize more. The verses below are appropriate for me now…I had them on Shutterfly as well. What “time” is it for me?
Wow, that is just how I felt last July! What now Lord? But He has managed to fill up my days and taken care of some of the restlessness of the empty nest. He will definately do the same for you. Love ya MOM
