The "Grand" Vacation

Well, what can I say, "WOW!" We had an awesome time out west. Las Vegas was fun but the mountains and canyons were spectacular. We did stay on the cowboy ranch for one night which included a horse back ride to the rim, campfire and smores, and a great view of the sunrise at 5:30 am! The glass skywalk on the Hualapai Reservation will take your breath away as you stand 4000 ft on glass looking down into the canyon. We also got to watch the sun set over the Grand Canyon at the South Rim--inspiring!

We then drove to Sedona, Arizona which turned out to be much more than I had expected. As we drove in, Ari decided she was moving there and by the end of the trip, they had all decided to move to Sedona (someday)! There, we took a Pink Jeep Tour out into the Red Rocks--a lot of fun! We ate breakfast overlooking the mountains that look like Snoopy and Lucy and we drove to an old ghost mining town taken over by hippies. The town sets on the side of the mountain along hairpin turns. Oh, and I can't forget Slide Rock Park where you actually slide down the rocks along Oak Creek. There were a few sore bottoms after that! Aimee didn't get in, way too cold for my blood.

We headed back to Las Vegas for 2 nights at the MGM Grand Signature Hotel. Spent 2 days enjoying the Lazy River which was much needed after all the adventures. I hope you all enjoy some of the pictures which I think we had over 500 but I've managed to somehow widdle down to a few of the best.
